After 2 years at Cal State Long Beach, I not only have an overflowing bookshelf, but I have gained some important skills that I worked damn hard for. Never did I expect to become a History major, but I am so glad I chose this path that required everything I have never been good at (reading, writing, analyzing, etc). So here’s to some of the most difficult and rewarding years of my life!

I just started my next cycle (or 2nd month) of the 5/3/1 program.
I just finished week 1 where broke 3 of my records. I’m so stoked!
I squatted 100lbs for 12 reps
I deadlifted 145lbs for 10 reps
and Military Pressed 55lbs for 8 reps. (Yeah my upper body strength SUCKS)
It was a hectic week, too. I had 2 papers to write, a book to read, and a midterm. I was stressed, but lifting this week for sure made me feel a little better.
And now I’m going to take the Santa Monica City test for an Assistant position.
